been ogl for 3 days already, and its been FUN! esp yestersday!
WEDNESDAYwent to sch excited, couldnt really sleep the night before. NEW PPL COMING!! gonna see who my new classmates are, what they like, any pai kias etc etc. met my partners, Han Shen, Shi Hui and Siew Ling (Emily)! got posted to take charge of OG 24 and rodney subhouse 6, dunno y they had to split into sub house but.... nvm. the whole class was really quiet (expected), same sch ppl sat together, all looking bored and sleepy. so it was up to us OGLS to lighten the mood. sadly the frst day was all admin stuff, couldnt really play any icebreakers with them. the rest of the day was mostly talks for them, free time for us. i think the most exciting part of the day was meeting new ppl.....
THURSDAYkkz 2nd day! still relatively excited, 1 more new girl came today, played some icebreakers finally. got them to know each other closer and i think they had fun watching the forfeits haha. anywayz, i still dun really get the subhouse and og thing... bond them as a class for like 1 hr in the morn and for the rest of day split them into diff houses... and bond them with new ppl again.... quit dumb actually. anywayz more talks today, played cai quan with 115 ppl! haha fun man, srry wei lun made u do the forfeit. anywayz nothing bad came out of it so dun wrry too much =D. oh yea played some games today, made more new friends in my subhouse group. oh yea, looking forward to tmrs AMAZING RACE. had a briefing sometime in the day and it sounded quite fun. at least its something out of sch... kinda boring, staying in sch the whole day plus its not exactly the biggest building around...
FRIDAY!!AMAZING RACE DAY!! fun. started off with playing more games with og 24, managed to get all the contacts and stuff, siewling will type out and pass to them nxt wk. think they're kinda bonded liao, had more fun today, most were willing to speak up and i think its a great improvement frm the 1st day. next had a captain's ball activity with the subhouse, GO RODNEY 6!!! wahaha totally dominated the game with 43 points! next closest group had 41 followed by 27 hahaha large gap man. yea rodney 6 has bonded too!! could see it in the way they played together and cheered together! anywayz thats good for us too cos amazing race is a team activity.
AMAZING RACE!
lol big event so its a sub topic =D. set off with lots of energy, everyone kinda enthu about it. hey as i said before, its out of sch! who wouldnt be happy. anywayz had to solve some puzzle thingy to find out where the checkpoints were, then started out. we had to stick together in a big subgroup.... which kinda slowed the race down to a tour. like all the 6 were together, forming a group of about 100 ppl... think we set a guiness world record for most number of participants in an amazing race group. recommended no. was 2 ppl. we had 100 running around doin the same checkpoint.... kinda dumb. anywayz, GUAN YU MADE ME CARRY HER BAG THE WHOLE RACE!! and she has gold bars in it or sumthing... lucky sarala, shi hui and siewling helped me carry awhile during the race or else i would have died or sumthing. anywayz, she recommended me this girl who was frm track last time and had potential so.... THANK YOU GUAN YU! there, thats ur credit. =D ran around the nothern and central part of sg before finally proceeding to our pitstop at yio chu kang. along the way i think the group really had fun together and i learnt everyone's names!! woohoo big achievement! haha im starting to really like my subhouse, they're great man, and most if not all showing enthusiasm in the activities. too bad we only completed 3/5 stations before being asked to proceed directly to the pitstop due to lack of time. nvm got to split up frm the rest to make it a race to the pit stop, practically walked ourself to death but we got 10th position out of 35!! so it was kinda worth it. not bad, considering a couple of wrong decisions we made along the way =D. so yea dats about it for the race, was dismissed from the pitstop itself.
lucky its the weekend now, time to recuperate, get ready for more activities next week. looking forward to the scout camp thingy. will post something about it when its over =D hope it'll be as fun as the race
