OK as promised, heres the rest of our orientation in brief =D
MONDAYhmm most fun thing today was MONOPOLY ALIVE with RODNEY 6!! haha. kkz heres how the game goes. u are given a starting sum of $10000 and start life from 10 yrs old, and u live till 60. every half hour u grow 10 yrs. there are 5 stations to visit, the disco, gameroom, school, the bank and lastly the ever present prison haha. i think the most happening place the whole game was the prison lah! and i've never seen ppl so eager to go to school before. thats wad school shld be about haha, crossword puzzles and sudoku. anywayz, we started off going to the bank to deposit half our starting sum. then we went to the gameroom, played some shoe game, run around a lot, see ppl fighting over shoes haha and won $8000! woohoo go RODNEY 6! then the bloody shool still did not have enough vacancies for us, so we went clubbing! haha had to do some stupid dance thing, and won another $8000!! hahaha then went to invest some cash in stocks, earned a bit i think. when we were around 30 yrs old then we started taking our PSLE.... lol can u imagine.... finished some crossword puzzles, then immediately went to take our 'O' lvls haha. this time had to do sudoku and unfortunately we couldnt finish any. we till passed anywayz haha. then wad do ppl do after completing two major exams in half an hour? we went clubbing again! this time we had to do some shakira thingy, group which shook their butts most vigorously wins. we got 2nd =D! haha. really tiring game, almost fell asleep half way BUT it was fun!
TUESDAYActivity filled day. scouts camp in the morn then some csi thing. the scouts camp was really great. it was like the bond was complete. RODNEY 6 HAS BECOME LIKE ONE. really saw some great teamwork there. cant really describe the stations cos i forgot their names haha. but saw all of them working together and speak up, esp the quieter ones. broke some records there, but later found out it was broken again by a few other groups... but its ok =D at least we beat those who went with us! esp liked the dog and bone game, where we had to crawl army style with water being splashed over u, under a nylon net to get to a ball and somehow bring it to the other side while avoiding the opponents. tactic no.1 POKE THE OTHER GUY! very effective esp if he has the ball haha. tactic no.2 roll over the other guy, or at least try to. esp if hes big and tall like raymond. BUT be careful not to get urself called out for aggressive play =D. tactic no.3 this last tactic is the most desperate move and should only be attempted when all else fails. when the opponent has broken through all defences, grab both ankles and pull! due to the water, he should slide backwards, allowing some breathing space. if he kicks, its aggressive play =D.
after the scouts camp, we were all drenched, muddy and tired, and not really looking forward to the next game back at school, CSI. oh well went to shower once we reached sch, had lunch then proceeded to our next activity. oh ya, told some ghost stories abt yj to the group. haha then dat night poor raymond had nightmares. SRRY!
anywayz, CSI was all about going to diff places and looking at crime scenes, then finally solving the crime. at every stop, 1-2 puzzles had to be solved before continuing. with the scouts camp in the morn, i dun think everyone was really mentally up for it, soo.. yea we were not dat fast in solving some of the puzzles. but we tried =D and rodney 6 made it through with enthusiasm although it was obvious most were dead tired. we managed to solve the crime at the end though! so great job guys =D
WEDNESDAYThe end of orientation =(. it was fun being together with u guys in rodney 6 but now we're gonna split into perma classes. but its ok, we'll still meet up and keep in touch online, esp with the upcoming bbq already planned by our two secretaries, Xue Ping and Min Zhi =D haha, nice planning btw. kkz cca orientation day. had a real headache with the poster and how to display the trophies. but thx to a few ppl, it was completed on time. i esp wanna thank Siew Ling who practically did the whole poster herself, even though she's from CO... felt very bad that she had to use up so much time to do it while i wasnt putting in as much effort. anywayz, thx to her hardwork, ppl actually noticed our poster and we had a lot more names than last year written down. coupled with Mr Saravana's "potentials" list, we actually have a more than decent team =D. woohoo, time to win something in nationals this year. now theres more motivation to train harder and beat my pb's! wrote down Xue Ping's name also even though she didnt want to join haha. nvm there's potential in this one! with some training, she'll be able to pass her NAPFAs haha. eh gotta be thankful k? at least i help to solve ur "wad cca to join" dilemma. can get a free drink summore, see track ppl so nice. u should be honored to join. took a couple of pics with them, will post it up asap. kkz lah, dats about all for orientation. too bad rodney 6 couldnt stay as a class.. but its ok, at least we're still in the same sch or 6 more weeks at least =D
