INTERHOUSE SOCCER TODAY!!as the heading already announced, i had interhouse soccer today playing for SELETAR! hmm okok straight into the action, frst game frst half was played with only 6 men against admiralty's 7 cos this top striker zhang was late... let in 2 goals at first then when he arrived, caught back up but still lost 3-2. oh well this was our first and only defeat. 2nd and third match was played against pierce then rodney back-to-back. and i scored in both! =D got into the semis cos we won our next 2 matches and found out our next opponents were seletar team B.
at least one seletar would be in the finals. haha and in the end it was team A who got through once again thanks to great team play and our mvp zhang. he made up for being late by scoring and scoring. Finals was against rodney again. a long ardous match was played with both sides suffering cramps in the calves. played out to a 0-0 score and had to settle for penalties. final score, 5-4. we lost. BUT its okay. considering we played 4 matches consecutively, with NO substitutes at all, with at least 2 injured players and still made it this far. thx guys for letting me play in the team, really enjoyed it. the gold trophy was so near yet so far, but i'll still settle for a silver one =D
